Training: 1 Week Out From Fight Night 20

Just got done with my last hard day of workouts Monday. Now it’s time to pull the work load and intensity back to start my peaking phase. This allows my body a chance to heal and recover from the 8 week training camp I had. I’m adding a couple more Hyperbaric Chambers sessions, reducing the time of my workouts and focusing more on get my body back to 110% for the night of January 11th Fight Night 20 vs Nate Diaz. All the hard work has already been done, I just need to keep my weight under control and focus on my fight. I leave for Fairfax, VA on Thursday morning. I’ll be able to workout at the hotel that night. I haven’t seen the facilities yet, but they are usually in one of the conference rooms with mats and a standing punching bag. I’ll have my boxing coach there to hit mits and a couple partners for my wrestling and ju jitsu. I’ll let you know how everything is going when I get there!!
