Jeremy Brand from MMA Sucka took the time to interview me (Thanks Bro!) and I thought you might be interested.

MMA Sucka: How did you feel when you heard that Frankie Edgar was Dana White’s choice to fight BJ Penn in Abu Dhabi?

Gray: I think Frankie is a great opponent for BJ and I’m excited to watch them fight. I would have loved the opportunity to fight for the belt, but I think timing was a big factor for me.  When training for a championship fight, it’s usually a 10-12 week training camp. Which wouldn’t have given me any time in between my last training camp. I just need to stay focused and keep working hard towards my goals and the title shot will come.  Best of luck to both of them, it’s going to be a great fight.

MMA Sucka:. Did Nate get into your head throughout the fight? If so how?

Gray: I think I let my emotions play a factor in the fight, which I usually don’t let happen.   But, I’m human and I need learn from my mistakes and improve them. I’m a pretty nice guy, but I’m not going to back down from anyone.

MMA Sucka: It looked as if Randy was upset with you after the first round, were you not following your gameplan?

Gray: I don’t think he was upset, I think he was just trying to get my attention!!

MMA Sucka: Who do you want to fight next?

Gray: Whoever the UFC wants me to fight.

MMA Sucka: I would love to see you fight Kenny Florian, how would you see that fight playing out?

Gray :You never now until the fight actually happens, until then it’s all just talk.
